The College of Medicine in Rabigh was established by Royal Decree on 7/3/1429, to establish three colleges in Rabigh Governorate, affiliated to King Abdulaziz University, including the College of Medicine, and the actual study began in the Boys ’College in the academic year 1429-1430.

And thank God, the College of Medicine - Female Students in Rabigh was established in the year AH 1439, and this is a continuation of the college’s path, and today I am proud to participate in establishing this edifice so that it will be a building block in the establishment of an integrated medical educational system that adds to the provision of health and human care to the Rabigh Governorate and its villages, and we ask God to pay Our best efforts to advance and advance this edifice, serve students and society, achieve the goals previously set and implement the visions and aspirations of the university's top management, and before it the leadership of this rational country that harnessed all capabilities to support the education process in the Kingdom.

This unlimited support from the leadership and administration of the university places a great responsibility on us and invites us to work hard to develop and keep pace with the scientific movement locally and globally.

Finally. I cannot fail to extend my sincere thanks to His Excellency the Rector of the University, may God protect him for his support and follow-up, and thanks to the Dean of the College Prof. Dr. Tawfik Ghabrah and His Excellency the distinguished faculty agents and all the administrative and technical staff who contributed to the college's successes.
