Islamic Activities:
Propagation of Islamic values among our students is necessary to make them a good physician and a good human being. The related member is responsible for generating activities which should help students to know the importance of Islamic teachings in their life. Use of Quran, Hadiths and Tafseer is encouraged in this regard
Sports Activities:
Sports are an integral part of a student's life and are needed for their optimal grooming. Besides bringing fitness and stamina, it also enhances the leadership qualities and team spirit. Sport activities are encouraged at the Faculty of Medicine in Rabigh and sporting events are held regularly during the academic years under the supervision of faculty member in charge of sports. These events includes
- Interclass Table Tennis Tournament
- Interclass Swimming Championship
- Interclass Volleyball Tournament
- Basic Sciences Football Championship
- Clinical Sciences Football Championship
- Athletics’ Events at Sports Day
Annual Sports Day have been held with its true spirit with athletic events including 100 meters, 200 meters, 100 meters X 4 Relay races, Shot put competition, etc.
Medals and Trophies are given during the Annual Social Day.
Indoor games facilities like Table Tennis and Billiard are provided all the time for students to utilize during breaks and free time
Cultural Activities:
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a rich culture. Students in the faculty of Medicine are taught to preserve that culture. Different activities are generated to promote cultural values especially on the Annual Students’ Day. Students are encouraged to bring new ideas and to participate fully in such activities. Annual Interclass Quiz Competition, Painting and Calligraphic competitions are few examples through which culture is propagated.
Social Activities:
These too are important in a student’s life. These help them to remain connected. Faculty member in charge is responsible to make the students involved in social activities being held sporadically and on Annual Students Day. Interclass debate competition, speeches, awareness campaigns are generated in this regard to name a few
